Wooden
Combo (e.g. concrete base + steel top)
Decorative (wrought iron, bamboo, etc.)

Design gate location(s) and access (swing, sliding, pedestrian)
🏗️ 2. Permits & Legal Requirements
Barangay clearance or certificate of no objection
Building permit (especially for permanent concrete or over 1.8m fences)
Consent from adjacent lot owners (if fence is on shared boundary)
Check zoning and height regulations (from LGU or subdivision)
🔨 3. Materials & Tools Checklist
Cement, sand, gravel (for footings or concrete wall)

Mark property boundary with stakes and string
Excavate holes for posts
Pour concrete for footing/base
Install fence posts at regular intervals (with plumb and level)
Install fencing panels or blocks between posts

Clean site and dispose of debris properly
Take photos for records and warranty purposes
📌 Bonus Tips
Consider drainage holes at the bottom of concrete fences.
